Parish Notices for the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time

1. There will be a Roman Catholic Archdiocesan Grand Raffle for Catholic Education Prizes: Audi A4 Sports Sedan, Mazda 2 Sedan, 20 Cubic ft. refrigerator, Trip for 2 to Miami and One Toaster Oven. Ten dollars per ticket. A raffle book has 12 tickets and it is sold for $100.00 dollars (2 ticket bonus). More information of the poster and in the Catholic News. 2. Our annual Independence Barbeque is on Saturday 31^st August. If you would like to assist us by sponsoring some of the ingredients – rice, perhaps a contribution towards a case of chicken, vegetables, BBQ sauce or ketchup, please contact Deacon Jeffrey. Tickets cost $40.00. The menu includes Savory Rice, Pasta & Green Salad. 
3. The new RCIA program begins on Friday, September 6th at 7PM in the Parish Hall. It is open to all young adults -17years & over - who would like to complete their Christian Initiation, and persons desirous of being baptized or received in the Church.
