Parish Notices for the 1st Sunday in Lent

1. We would like to invite you to our Regular Lenten Devotions: All Fridays of Lent – Way of the Cross at the Calvary Hill at 6pm and at 5.30 pm in Mt. D’or Chapel. 
2. Every Friday in Lent at 12 noon there will be an Ecumenical Lenten Service in Holy Saviour Anglican Parish, Curepe. All are welcomed! 
3. On Tuesday April 8th at 6PM, Our Lady of the Rosary Charismatic Prayer Group will host a Lenten Healing Service. Preacher to be announced! 
4. The St. Joseph/ Mt. D’or parish together with St. Michael’s parish of Maracas St. Joseph invites you to celebrate St. Joseph Day with us next Sunday 16th March. The day’s events will commence with Procession form the parochial church to the First Capital Park with the statue of St. Joseph, followed by the Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Archbishop Joseph Harris. Thereafter, stay with us at the First Capital Park where we will lime with our MC, Mr. Errol Fabien, as we enjoy live entertainment, inclusive of parang with Nuestra Cosa and performances from neighbouring schools. Let the younger ones have fun on the bouncy castle and at the dunking booth, among other activities. There will be lots more to enjoy, so join us and make it a family affair to remember. 
5. Part of our celebration of our patronal feast will be our Lenten Retreats preached by Fr. Arnold Francis on the Beatitudes on 17^th, 18^th and 19^th of March at 6.30 pm. Very important and interesting topic, highly qualified preacher. It will be a good (real) thing. 
6. The joint choir practice before our feast day will be tomorrow/today (Sunday, 9^th of March) at 10.00 am in St. Joseph church. All choirs are invited, that we may make our feast beautiful.
